President

Clayton Boop

Clayton Boop is the President and Founder of CBE and Company. He attended the University of Denver on a baseball scholarship, where he graduated with an accounting degree. Clayton started his career with one of the "Big Six" accounting firms in their audit division with a focus on construction, mining, hospitality and benefit plans. As Chief Financial Officer for companies with revenues from $100,000 up to $200+ million, he is prepared to partner with clients to provide strategic planning, forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, internal controls, surety reporting, cash management, insurance, risk management, attestation services, third party audits, human resources and corporate taxes.

Clayton is a proud Arizona native with fierce loyalty to the Sun Devils and all of the Phoenix pro sports teams. When not working hard on the 10-key, he enjoys an active life with his wife, Heather and their two children, Jackson and Aly. They enjoy playing sports, hanging with family and friends around the pool and attending sporting events. He also loves golf, the outdoors and coaching his son's little league baseball and football teams.

Marcela Ochoa

Marcela Ochoa started her career with a Fortune 500 company and has been a Controller for various companies. Marcela brings an abundance of accounting experience to our clients with skills in conducting financial projections, payroll, purchasing, preliminary notices, financial reporting, human resources, reconciliations, various audits, taxes, fixed asset management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, certified payroll and information technology management. Additionally, Marcela has prepared individual tax returns for over 15 years.

Marcela, originally from California, has called Arizona her home for the last 15 years. She and her husband, Armando, are foster parents and very much enjoy helping children in need. Marcela rests her brain from chasing numbers by reading, hitting the cinema often, traveling all over the world and scuba diving. She's experienced Australia's Great Barrier Reef and exchanged vows in the Caribbean waters with sharks as her wedding party.

Paula Hatch

Paula Hatch has over 25 years of experience in positions ranging from administrative to managerial. Paula is more than sufficiently skilled to provide our clients with billing support, job costing, project administration, proposal preparation and insurance. She also "holds down the fort" on a daily basis for CBE by handling our marketing, office management, scheduling, proposal preparation, accounts payable, accounts receivable and various administrative duties.

Paula has been in the Valley since 2002 and loves her desert life but always calls Detroit Rock City "home". She is a huge fan of football, baseball, golf, and hockey. Outside of her dedication to CBE, Paula is co-founder of a local animal rescue. In her rare free time, she loves to golf, shop and hang with her husband, Ken.

Amanda Going

Amanda Going joined CBE after many years of owning her own bookkeeping firm and working in the banking industry. Her experience has given her a broad range of skills in the accounting and bookkeeping arena. Amanda can efficiently provide our clients with payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, sales tax reporting, reconciliations, financial reporting and ad hoc accounting reports. Additionally, she can assist our clients with managing PayPal accounts, purchasing, POS systems, and credit card reports, as needed.

Amanda made Arizona her home with her husband and two daughters after relocating from Florida several years ago. After a full day of analyzing numbers, she unwinds by spending time with family and friends, running marathons, practicing yoga, golfing and meditation. Amanda also gives back through various volunteer organizations. When the time comes, she dreams of retiring in the great state of Montana.
